Unfortunately there's no Frankel to run in the show piece Juddmonte International this year :( . That been said it's still gonna be a top race with four of the 6 entrants group 1 winners already.
The favourite - Al Kazeem - has every right to be at the head of the market with been on a run of 1's .
One of my favourite horses in training is Declaration Of War but I feel he's been over worked this term to be involved.
Trading Leather will have to make his own running and I think that will set it up for my selection - Toronado- who'll be making the step up in trip for the first time but is bred for this trip so I see that as no problem and will swoop inside the last furlong to victory(he says whilst deep in prayer) .
The other big race today is the group 2 Voltigeur.
Unlike the favorite in the Juddmonte, AK , I don't believe the favourite for this race - Telescope - should be at the head of the market. Massively over hyped horse in my opinion.
I was really taken by Foundry's debut. Even tho he's been off the track for many months I don't think it will be a problem. He's also taking a massive step up in trip and class but I believe he'll do so and the fact that master trainer Aidan O'Brien is willing to let him run in this after only one instills confidence in me.
As I've stated before, these are just my thoughts on a sport I love an enjoy and aren't classing them as tips.Feel free to comment on selection whether you agree or disagree.
