Tom's Royal Ascot day 1 selections

It's been too long since I've posted a blog.  A mix of work and family commitments has resulted in an unexpected break. Back just in time for what is going to be an unbelievable 5 days of racing at Royal Ascot . Some call if the Olympics of racing. The 5 days will throw up something for  every race fan, from group 1 sprints to 20f handicaps. Competitors from all over the globe will ascend on Ascot to take part in some of the best races in the world.


Not many meetings start with a major group 1. Theres plenty of scores to settle with the fourth clash between Night of Thunder & Kingman,2-1 to the Irish 2,000 Guineas winner Kingman. The first for home in the King Stand are set to battle it out again. And all this on the first day. Throw in the reigning Arc winner Treve rocking up to take on Breeders Cup turf winner Magician on Wednesday plus a whole host of exciting stars from the US its going to be a belter of a week.
